St. Brendans A.C. was formed in 1979. Its most famous athlete was Tom O' Riordan who completed in Toyko Olympics. The club also has the distinction of winning ten County Championship Juvenile T+F titles in the 1990's under David Kissane. At the present the club is enjoying a great rivival and this year has an active membership of 150 juvenile athletes.
